Linda Metcalf's boek Teaching toward solutions bevat vele handige en praktische worksheets. Zoals deze mooie eenvoudige manier om oplossingsgericht met elkaar in gesprek te zijn over het kind op de school, waarin alle betrokkenen vijf vragen met elkaar beantwoorden:
1. goal of the teacher for the student is..........
2. teacher observations of times when the goal(s) occur more often (exceptions)(times when the student performs or behaves more succesfully)
3. goal of parent and student is.............
4. times when parents have noticed the goals occur more (exceptions)
(parent's description of more succesful teaching situations that worked better for his/her child)
5. Strategies to promote succes in the classroom
(using the two lists of exceptions identified, describe strategies for the student, parent and teacher for the next week)
